Deep within the misty jungles of Isola, there lies a mysterious wellspring, untouched by the prying eyes of man… until now…
/// MYTHOS ///After a mysterious storm sinks the sailing vessel Monroe, you find yourself washed on the shores of a verdant island, surrounded by beautiful white sand and low-lying clouds.
A steamy rainforest, thick with palms and green ferns, beckons you within. Deep in the jungle, thick with a comforting humidity and awash in a warm green haze, lie secrets waiting to be uncovered…
All that has accompanied you ashore is a mysterious tape… it has a single line of text on the front of the shell…

You open the shining case. The tape is worn, stretched somewhat… using a small piece of driftwood, you rewind the tape back inside its glistening, speckled shell. As it returns to form, it shines a dazzling green and blue. A small note falls to the sand below. It reads…
ISOLA RESEARCH MISSION 040799 - ENTRANCE LIES BEYOND FOUNTAIN. USE CAUTION INSIDE FACILITY. SECURITY MEASURES IN PLACE. SITE B PERSONNEL CONSIDERED MISSING. MIND VAULT STILL OPERATIONAL.

A dotted line twists within the green shading before settling on a small drawing of a fountain. An arrow points from the fountain to another small symbol…

RETURN TO ISOLA is a brief journey through plundered samples, programmed beats, and jungle ambience. A complete remastering with select remixes, RETURN TO ISOLA rediscovers the verdant world of the original release in a new light. These are the first pieces of music I assembled in the earliest stages of my musical journey. They are near and dear to me, no matter the quality - I am proud of what I was able to conjure together those years ago. I hope you can get some enjoyment from them.
